Terms of Service ​

1. Acceptance of Terms ​

By accessing or using Examduler (the "Service"), provided by (ing) Studios ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service ​

Examduler is an open-source, lightweight yet powerful exam management app for educators and students.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities ​

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using Examduler, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
  • Authentication: We use OAuth 2 providers such as Google for account creation. You agree to provide and maintain accurate information associated with your OAuth account and adhere to their terms.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately at contact@ingstudios.dev.
  • Institutional Compliance: If you are using this Service on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so and agree to comply with your institution's internal policies.

4. User Generated Content ​

  • Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the data, files, and text you upload to Examduler ("User Content").
  • License to Operate: By uploading content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclsive license to host, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and authorized collaborators.
  • Collaboration: When you add other users to an organization or an examination, you acknowledge they may be able to view and interact with your User Content.

5. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage ​

Examduler integrates Artificial Intelligence to provide summarization and other core AI capabilities such as Magic Paste.

  • Input Responsibility: You are responsible for the data you provide to the AI models.
  • Output Accuracy: AI-generated content (summaries, schedule, etc.) is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy or academic validity of AI outputs. Users should verify critical information independently.
  • Local vs Servce Processing: We prioritize privacy by utilizing on-device and self-hosted AI (Gemma 3). However, the performance and availability of these features depend on your hardware or our server uptime.

6. Open Source and Intellectual Property ​

Examduler is an open-source project. While the core platform is available under its respective open-source license, the "Examduler" name, (ing) Studios branding, and specific UI/UX designs are protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability ​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, (ing) Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and personal information stored therein.
  • Any errors or omissions in AI-generated content.

8. Termination ​

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms ​

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
